- Drawing on the right side of the brain - Betty Edwards
First time I readed this book about 10 years ago.. I was about 17 and I couldnt draw a stick figure. It really improved my skills and I could almost draw portraits only after this book. I just currently went to library and took this book again. I should totally recommend this for all beginners!
- How to paint with Colored Pencils - Jose Parramon
This book is for color pencils. I really like Color pencils because they are clean and easy to carry everywhere. Making sketches with color adds always a different mood than only with normal pencil. If you like color pencil drawing (or painting like Jose talks in the book), I think this book is really good start!
